No I never did ge my Hee Haw overalls. I wear my OshKosh out in public sometimes and the people on the Main Line stare at me. I love wearing overalls. So comfortable especially when it is that time of the month.

Hi Denise-

Yes the woman you are talking about is Gina Garan and she has made a fortune out of making the Blythe Doll a revival of kitsch. She knits and sews outfits for Blythe dolls then photographs them.
Her book is interesting but I don't own it. I am sorry to hear your timing for selling the doll was a wee bit off. I am glad you know about those noodles. Most people only know about boring Ramen.
Try the recipe. You will like it. If you can find a sweet tasting BBQ chips it even tastes better. I had a friend send me some Better Made BBQ chips from Detroit. They are sweet and worked perfectly with the noodles.

Hey, I eat those noodle soups, too, and your recipe sounds yummy!

Your wide-eyed ladies are so exuberant & fun ~

I had a Blythe doll when I was a kid in the '70s. I almost sold it at a garage sale in the '90s but some kind soul told me to try eBay because it was collectible. I did, and got what I though was pretty good $. But the next year someone wrote a book about them, they got popular again, and they started selling for many times what I sold for...darn!

It was a cool doll, though - and I still have the shoes somewhere.

cheers ~
